The historic monument, which is less than a 30-minute drive from us here at Beech Hill, is five thousand years old - even older than the Egyptian pyramids! The fort sits on Greenan Hill in Inishowen and on a clear day you can see five of its surrounding counties.

Hop on the amazing Causeway Coast starting from Beech Hill! There’s nothing modest about Antrim’s coastline, one stunning site leads to another, from the craggy castle ruins of Dunluce Castle to the pale cream sands of Whiterocks Beach. But as you weave along this great driving route, one sight jumps out as truly spectacular: the Giant’s Causeway
Seamus Heaney Homeplace
Celebrating the life and literature of the poet and Nobel Laureate who was one of Ireland's greatest writers. The Seamus Heaney Homeplace is located in the village of Bellaghy, situated just 45 minutes away. Seamus Heaney himself was born and raised within the area and choose Bellaghy as his final resting place.
The Guildhall is one of Derry’s most recognisable landmarks and has been at the heart of city life since 1890. As well as being home to the Council’s chamber and Mayor’s Parlour, the Guildhall is a must see – from the stunning stained glass windows, take in an exhibition on the Plantation of Ulster, visit the organ and enjoy some good food in the cafe.
Free Derry Museum
The Museum of Free Derry focuses on the 1960s civil rights era known as The Troubles and the Free Derry Irish nationalist movement in the early 1970s - In 2018, the Museum of Free Derry was named Authentic NI Experience of the Year!
