Introducing Lady Isabella’s Afternoon Tea at Beech Hill

Introducing Lady Isabella’s Afternoon Tea at Beech Hill
Wednesday, 01 May 2019
On Saturday 27th April we launched our new and delicious Afternoon Tea –so called after a previous resident of the original Beech Hill Manor House back in the 18th century – Lady Isabella Skipton.

To celebrate the occasion Cathy Martin and the NI Bloggers Brunch crew were invited in to have the first taste! Eileen Donaghey aka The Afternoon Tea Expert was also on hand to give us expert tips on tea etiquette and some interesting history of the origins of Afternoon Tea.

The entire offering is made from scratch in our own kitchen here at Beech Hill. Our new pastry chef has amazing experience from years of working in a Michelin Star kitchen, and its shows – we are so proud of the final product.

The Afternoon Tea is an experience – it encompasses our history and our talent in the beautiful surroundings of the 400-year-old Manor House, a perfect combination! A mix of sweet and savoury, you won’t find any plain old finger sandwiches here, we have focaccia, brioche buns and rye bread that compliment our yummy fillings.
