Menus

Beech Hill has long been famed for fine food. As head chef it is my responsibility to make sure that the tradition continues. But I and my talented and enthusiastic colleagues in the kitchen also have a duty to introduce you to new dishes and tastes that may be unfamiliar. After all, dining-out should be an exciting and rewarding experience.

Whatever you choose from the menu you can be sure that it is made from ingredients of the highest quality and same-day freshness.

Our mature Irish beef is dry-aged especially for Beech Hill. The delicious duck we offer comes from Lissara County Down. Trevor Barclay raises rare breed pigs on his farm at Desertmartin and provides all our wonderfully tender, taste-packed pork.

Renowned poultry breeders in the region deliver the succulent and flavoursome chicken that always features on our menu while local fishermen supply the best sea fish and smoked salmon you could ever wish for. And hand-picked mussels and crab from their local clear, cold shore waters.

Miriam our pastry chef has a great talent for baking bread and she produces a variety of different styles each day and you will be offered a selection at lunch or dinner. She also creates wonderful desserts and the dazzling array of cakes and pastries that are the central attraction of our new afternoon teas. Ice cream is churned by Ruth and Ian in their dairy at Braemar Farm in nearby Castlerock. It is made from the rich cream produced by their cattle.

It is our pleasure to offer cheeses churned by award-winning cheeses from County Tyrone’s famous Five Mile Creamery and the Causeway Coast Cheese Company. A selection, accompanied by a glass of fine port, makes a very satisfactory end to any meal.

We are aware that some of our customers have important dietary needs. Please tell us, if possible when making your reservation, and we will make sure your wishes are met. As a matter of course all our sauces and soups are made without flour.

If you would like to hold a special event at Beech Hill we will be pleased to discuss any style of catering with you. To surprise a friend, or reward someone in the family, give them one of our gift vouchers.

Cooking for you is a great pleasure and I look forward to seeing you again soon.
